I am reaching out to invite you to join me, Wallis Annenberg, Quincy Jones, Will and Jada at Royce Hall on the campus of UCLA for the West Coast premiere of Oman...O Man! This dance driven spectacle, which will narrow the gulf between Muslim and Christian Culture with an original score by Arturo Sandoval, received high marks from Mrs Obama who upon seeing it at the Kennedy Center remarked "every child in America needs to see this."
I know you understand the value of the arts in the lives of young people so please help me give that inspiration and confidence to thousands of deserving young artists. Your family will love this show. ... I need all the help I can get for the talented kids in LA who NEED this opportunity.... Call my office if you are able to come: (310) 202-1711.

The Story
"Oman...O Man!"
follows the friendship between two young men--one Omani, another American--who meet at a military academy with cadets from all over the world. Though similar in age, these roommates don't really understand each other. However, through music, movement, song, and dance, they take a magical journey together and discover the similarities and the differences between their two cultures, and learn much about each other.
